Tim Conway was a brilliant talent. Those of us who remember Mr. Conway on the  Carol Burnett show saw a comedian who shared his craft, simply, unparalleled. Together, with Harvey Korman the served up performances for the ages: the unscripted outbursts of laughter at the end of a belly-laugh line took entertainment to a new level. Mr. Conway’s passing today at 85 caused many of us to pause and remember his gift. Mr. Conway’s sense of humour didn’t rely on video clips, or special effects. Clearly, he didn’t need them. And, with his passing, perhaps a form of live comedy left us, too.
